It’s been a good day

A lot of progress on my code to show to my professor. Some silly mistakes have been eliminated and I’m working on a cost function that will be used to rearrange packets automatically. The one that I’m actually using doesn’t look like it will work because results are not converging to a good value (they are going to infinite, as the code is now).

He said that there is an alternative using another theory for the cost, and so I believe I’ll work with that during the rest of this week.
